when she dreams in colors.

having studied the history of art, i tend to find myself focusing on artists of the past however, i love finding inspiring contemporary painters. i came across the work of tzviatko kinchev the other day and was instantly drawn to it. i love his use of color and the dreamlike quality to his works.

kinchev’s women reminded me of leonid afremov’s cityscapes–and then sure enough, i found some of kinchev’s cities. both artists use the most amazing color palettes–playing with light as color.
