be sure to wear flowers in your hair.

i just recently moved to san francisco and each day i find a little piece of hidden magic–its obvious why the summer of love originated here.

the architecture in this city is phenomenal but then again, i am a sucker for an overly ornate victorian home.  every time i come upon one of these queen anne gems, my jaw drops–after all, they were one of the reasons why i fell in love with this city when i first visited 12 years ago!

then there’s the bridge. its a san francisco (who am i kidding–its an american) icon.  and on a clear day, it makes for a beautiful photograph.

and then, the true magic of this city: its oddities.  it’s those little idiosyncrasies that help make san francisco Condé Nast Traveler’s number one American city.
