mishpucha.

grandpa and his girls at thanksgiving 2008.

i could not be luckier. i have the most beautiful, loving family.  sadly, we are all sprinkled across the U.S. but thanksgiving is the one time each year, that we all gather without fail—except last year.  i spent last year living in italy (i know, poor me–right?) and missed out on my favorite family tradition.  so i was beyond excited to be reunited with the whole fam.  as corny as it sounds, missing last’s years thanksgiving made me even more thankful and appreciative of my wonderful family.  we are a rambunctious crew and considering there are 18 of us, there is never a dull moment when we all get together.  and this thanksgiving was no exception–it was full of lots of laughter and love. and food. lots and lots of food.

so here’s to you gruenies, i love you all.
