walk quietly…listen to the heartbeat of the earth.

my parents and i spent saturday (yes, christmas) morning in nature’s cathedral–muir woods. despite the fact that it began raining the second we stepped out of the car (which made my camera not so cooperative), it was a very peaceful way to spend a holiday that we don’t celebrate.  needless to say, the redwoods are phenomenal–they are massive, regal, and relentless.  and honestly, the rain even added to the beauty of the woods.

advice from a tree:
stand tall and proud.
go out on a limb.
be content with your natural beauty.
remember your roots.
enjoy the view.
