over the past six weeks, my sister and my apartment has turned into quite a cozy little home. surprisingly, the combination of her shabby chic taste and my umm, worldly eclectic decor has meshed together into a very well designed space (haphazardly, at least). between the two of us we’ve acquired some fabulous finds::thrifting, travels, & our grandmother’s hand-me-downs. although it has come together quite nice as a whole, i think my favorite parts of our apartment are the details.

a few favorite artists & apples to apples, of course.

the best books are gifted.

my grandmother’s bowl filled with the latest trends in music & fashion.

a little piece of morocco.
family heirloom & a fairfax find.

sf chinatown for $1 and little wisdom from sir blake, himself.

patio furniture is hot right now.

makeshift tv-stand–who needs ikea when you have sturdy art books?

remnants of my sister’s valentines day.

ten years later, bat mitzvah presents turn into centerpieces.

bottomless citrus bowl.

my prized possession: my grandmother’s chinese dressing screen.

the centerpiece in all five of my apartments/the best $15 i’ve ever spent.

gifts from the grandparents.

my great-grandmother’s table.

pretty good for a mish-mosh of pieces.

leave some love.
